Could someone explain, what is the difference between RTR 6.2(which I have on my PC), RTR Gold and RTR Platinum Edition? Which one is the latest and the best ?

RTR 6 gold was the final official version of the mod and was 6.3 plus a few extra fixes if memory serves for 1.2 patch

RTR Platinum is a fan project basically transfering RTR gold to 1.5 patch

So I can put the RTR 6 Gold patch, directly on the 6.2 version without uninstalling all traces of Rome Total War(as it was supposed to be for 6.0)? Is that correct, mate?

erm i dunno to be honest when gold came out i just got a new computer so i didnt have RTR on that one

I have already installed it and it's patching the game from v6.2 to Gold. You installed EB on your new PC, I suppose. It is better in one thing in my opinion: more factions(dacians and three gaulic tribes). It is more raelistic and the developers of RTR must think about it. Otherwise, RTR is almost perfect and I am grateful to The Creators :)
