There was a time that I hated this series, because I wasn't used to the style of play. But oh boy, when I was at a buddy's place about a year ago, playing Chaos Theory on the XBOX.... HAH, I was sold! Having played through it on the PC a couple of times back then, I don't regret it.
But anybody here's got Double Agent? I've seen people saying that it was going to suck big time before it was even released (mostly fanboys and such hanging around on forums). Some were also complaining about the fact that the game could only be played with SM 3.0, and not anything lower, forcing them to buy a new video card. Even more: you MUST have a certain minimum processor to be able to run it.
When I think about it, it sounds like a nasty choice of the publishers (and developers?) to force fans to upgrade for one game they really want to play.
I probably can't even run the game, let alone the demo due to my CPU (but I'm stubborn enough to try anyway :P). When I've upgraded in some time I'll check it out, but for now I'll have to do with descriptions of your personal experience with it
I want to know if this game's all it's cracked up to be, 'cause I doubt it.
