In previous TW games, archers didn't perform as well in the rain as in dry weather. Also, gunpowder units were useless even in the slightest of rain. This doesn't seem to be the case in M2:TW, since i've used arquebusiers in the rain on several occasions. Does rain affect the accuracy of bow and crossbow-armed troops, though? I personally haven't noticed a difference.

I've noticed a difference in percieved damage (ie they don't seem to be killing as many enemies)

I know it reduces their effectiveness, but i dont know if their range is reduced

I don't think their range is reduced, they just seem almost ineffective at killing anything in the rain though. Not sure if it's b/c of accuracy or because of a penalty to kill odds, though.
