This just requires basic modding techniques, simply change all cavalry to highly_trained in export_descr_unit. Also, change charge distance to 37 from 45. This helps to get better formed cavalry charges, and in my experience they are absolutedly deadly!:knight:

Nice work.
But I think they are deadly enough already, they just need a little thought.

My problem with them was that if they charged properly, they were overpowered, but often the charges were complete duds. This helps make charges more successful, so with some stat tweakin in EDU, you can get cav charges working nice and consistently, at a reasonble power.

Be aware that making a unit Higly_Trained also increases it's kill rate in general melee, though. If you edit your charge distance down to 25 and change the formation update value in the Descr_pathfinding file to 0.2 you get VERY good formation keeping. You can even get formed cav charges uphill in castles if you have them the right width and in guard mode.

Your welcome, the altered file is also part of my mod in case anyuopne wan'ts to know (trying to head off questions at the pass, and get some free advertising :laugh4:).
