Battlemap border

Is there any way to toggle the battlemap border on/off?

i think if you delete the texture of the boarder it will be invisible but i didnt test it
edit: i mean, overwrite it with blank tga/dds ;)

What happened was that I tried adding archer skymod to my game and it worked fine, other that the fact that whenever i go into battle i cant see the red border on the actual battlemap i am playing on ( i can still see it on the mini map). Although it increases the realism, i find it annoying especially when i am trying to wipe out routing soldiers. I thought that perhaps there was some option that i unwittingly turned off while installing the mod.

I think if you edit your preferences.txt file, located in 'Your RTW folder\preferences' , and you change the show_banners:true entry to false , then the red borders disappear as well as the little banners that float above the units on the battlefield.

Sometimes when you install a mod, they include a preferences file that over-writes whatever you were using before, so it may be the case that the banners were changed to false when you installed the sky-mod.
