View Full Version : Installing BI upgrades RTW to 1.5 I thought

I was doing a whole new fresh install of RTW and BI to overcome the problems others had with EB v.81 and I was trying to figure out why the game would just crash on launch of a campaign. I went into vanilla RTW to check the version and sure enough, it's version 1.3

I thought installing BI on RTW upgraded the RTW to 1.5

Am I wrong?

I guess I'm just confusing versions. I still have DLs for 1.5 Rome and 1.6 BI so I should be good to go. Who knows.....I guess my age is starting to affect my brain! :sweatdrop:

It's easy to forget, but when BI came out, it was 1.4 with a concurrent 1.3 patch to RTW. Later they patched BI up to 1.6, with RTW coming along for the ride at 1.5.
