Love the Getai General. I'm still working on a .80 Getai campaign.....He's making me want to abandon it....

I managed to continue a 0.80 campaign in 0.81 by just copying the save game from rome - total war\EB\saves, installing the 0.81 patch and then putting the game back in the saves folder. (you will have to create a saves folder in the beginning).

Please note that this may cause faults in the game but I encountered none and I have note seen anybody complaining of problems like this on these forums. :juggle2:

Sounds like you loaded v.81 on top of v.80 and either continued an old v.80 campaign or else didn't delete map.rwm before starting a new one. At this point you are probably better off installing the Hotfix on top of your build and trying a new campaign, or just doing a complete reinstall of RTW with the Full up v.81a install.

Yes indeed! My personal favorite is the new Red-haired Epeirote ambassador.

(The new ambassadors are the work of Moros. I think Teleklos created the new Diplomat/Spy combo for Saba)

@Cossack you know, the time just before the battle starts, when the map begin to zoom in, and it seems you are entering in the map, that's the moment to shot your printscreen button on the keyboard.

It's a new unit the general is with - not a *new* unit. The general was with the epilektoi before, but the problems with their phalanx abilities led to us moving it to the spartiate unit. Same unit as before, just works as a general's unit also now.

Ah np then, I edited my files and I was using the spartiates hoplitai unit for my general, thanks to Foot:2thumbsup: .


I will wait then to play a lil bit more with my KH campaign before installing the hotfix. Thanks.
