Hello all, I haven't been on these forums for quite a while. I had an account years back (clearly it's been deleted, because this is the same name) so I'm back to poke around the forums, I just got my shiny new copy of RTW about a month back and I'm itching to learn all I can about it and maybe even make a couple how-to guides.

I see the forums are as alive as ever and full of new information, but right now I'm just having fun cheating my butt off and I was hoping someone around here could show me where to find a list of all the unit names for the console screen. I've only de-cyphered two unit types (roman hastati and roman archers)

If you're bored and wondering what I know about the total war series, let's just say I've been playing since STW and I learned how to edit the files in MTW manually before I found the GeNome editor for MTW. (that thing was a god-send) That's all for now, if someone could show me the unit list or tell me how to find one I'd be very appreciative, see you all on the forums.

God Bless,
-Gunther

Well, guys, aside from welcoming Gunther back again you could also actually read his post and give a shot at helping him. As he did ask a question.

I think this question would be better asked either

Here (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=73)

or

Here (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=77)

As I think your question falls under the modding category.

Hope that helped somewhat.

Welcome back, and enjoy your stay here Gunther.
