Vuk's Photoshop contest!

Welcome to Vuk's first Photoshop Comic contest!

Anyone can enter!
Everyone takes snapshots from RTW, and makes a HUMOROUS comic out of them. You can use Photoshop to do any wacky thing you want. There will be two main Categories: Photoshopped, and Non-Photoshopped. Both of these will be further divided into Original RTW and MOD.

The prize will be being able to wear the OFFICIAL Vuk badge!

I will use a poll to decide the two most popular for each category, then I will choose which I think is best of the two.

Each must consist of only three frames, and be no more than 1000k in size.

(note: You can use Photoshop to insert voice bubbles in entries in the Non-Photoshop category)

I forgot I had these pics. Just a few random ones I took for my German AAR.

Here's how it happend; my army (435 men) is laying siege to the British (141). Another British force (975) is on the horizon ready to relieve the siege. I quickly move into the town, killing all 141 men inside. I then arrange my 6 spear warbands in a 3 columns wide and 2 columns deep just outside the town square with my general and axemen in the square. The 975 men relief force makes their way towards my warbands and are utterly crushed, only, they then want to rout to the town square...straight back into the warbands. The result is 1000+ corpses piled up neatly beneath the German spears. Not a pretty sight...actually, it was a very pretty sight!

Those pictures don't do the utter massacre justice. I wish TW allowed bodies to be stacked; if it did, those bodies would be waist high.

So do I. I think M2:TW supports it though, however I'm not sure - I can't really own it due to my system's atrocious specs.

I remember before I got a slight update on my PC it also struggled to play MTW. I had to lower the resolution so I had a load of blurry, STW style sprites running around instead of the real thing. I also had big white patches on the campaign map. It was kinda lame.

The update I got the PC has made it possible for me to play RTW so I'm pleased. I wish I could put it at it's full capabilites though; huge units, high detail etc. No chance of M2TW until I get a new PC. :no:

Same here really. My PC was updated last year from 128MB of RAM to 256MB and from some unknown integrated graphics card (S3 ProSavage 32MB integrated) to a Geforce 4 MX 420 which is 64MB. I plan soon on getting a more high spec PC, yet, for now, I'm stuck with this old clattering and spluttering machine.

Damn, that sucks. Do you play RTW? I would't think it works very well with the very minimum of the recommended RAM.

Yep, I play Rome, yet at the moment I only play EB. When I did play vanilla though I just got lots of lag on the loading screens and I had to turn off most settings. I did used to it eventually and the graphics don't look too bad - actually, very oddly, they look better when the settings are on low?

EB is, however, much slower, yet the wait is often worth what you get at the end.

Anyhow back to topic! Another good screen, yet very common proposal, I am yet to work out why they don't just ask for a ceasefire rather than an unfair proposal that the human player cannot make?

Hi all, sorry for the absense. Anyway, back now :D

Contest is still on, and I am yet to see any submitted as comic strips. (which is what I was really hoping for.
I will keep this open till we get enough entries to warrant a contest. Then I will design the Vuk badge and present it to the lucky winners. :D

Nice entries so far, but I would like to see more comic style. (That way you don't need to take funny screenshots, just think of funny dialouge or something. Still, looking good so far.
