Patch Problem

Hey, this has happened multiple times on multiple computers with different copies of the game, Im cursed or stupid... Every time i install patch 1.3 it works fine and dandy, (i use the repair function as Modify doesn't seem to do nowt) On the options menu it says VER 1.3. BUT when i try and install patch 1.5 it always says that patch 1.3 is not installed, ive re installed countless times blah de blah but to no avail :furious3: . can anyone point out what im doing wrong?

Hi dream,
May I suggest that you try the .zip version of the patch which can be found here (http://www.softwarepatch.com/games/rome-total-war-patch.html) - it will not search for the 1.3 patch before installing which hopefully will enable you to get past the problem. Hope this helps you, good luck, cheers!

This might seem like a silly question but where are you using the Repair/Modify functions? When installing the 1.3 patch I don't ever recall having to modify or repair it. Also depending on which version of the game you have it may already be patched to 1.5 (RTW Gold is already 1.5/1.6BI).
