Please help me with the patch

According to the above I have to place the patch in a destination folder. One of the areas I could go was the MTW in the C drive. So where do I place the patch in? Forgive me if I am computer illiterate. Thanks

No worries.

What the program is asking you to do at that point is where do you want to temporarily extract the patch setup files to. You could pick something quick and easy, like "C:\TEMP1\" (I'm assuming you don't already have a folder named this in that exact spot, you can name it whatever you want as long as it's new and unique). When the archive is done extracting, just open up that folder using Windows Explorer and then double-click the "setup.exe" file to actually begin the patch installation. When you're done installing the patch, you can delete that C:\TEMP1\ directory and everything in it.

Personally, I'd wait a few days until the second patch is out, it's (supposedly) right on top of us. Hopefully CA will distribute this one in a nice and simple non-extracting executable that just directly patches the game.

CA however might not include in 1.2 the material for 1.1 so it might be a patch from 1.1 - 1.2 instead of a 1.0 - 1.2 in that case forcing you to install the 1.1 patch before installing 1.2

The archive/installer is asking for a temporary place to extract the patch files to (most installers do this automatically and clog up your hdd :beam: )

You then must navigate to that folder in explorer and run the file 'setup.exe'

I hope not - the patch didn't patch my game and I was hoping version 1.2 would have more luck.

I'm sure that CA will release a full version of the patch (to be honest, i doubt they'll bother with an upgrade version when 1.1 was so small)

it was already confirmed that 1.2 will include 1.1 update as well.
