logon error

trying to log into EA server today and get logon error ... somone experiencing the same???

Same thing here !

In fact, I have OFTEN this kind of problems.
I usually have to try to log me in 3 or 4 times before it works... (although the username and password are ok).
Strange no?

lol i forgot to sign off eariler and when i come back there is just 1 other person on the ea server!! apparently no1 can log on right now. but i am soooo lucky that i am still on http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/tongue.gif i guess ill just wait untill the problem is fixed http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/rolleyes.gif

man, did i get worried?
i ended up uninstalling shogun, re-installing it fully, d/ling the patch again and re-installing that too... jeez

it wasn't all for nothing though, i stopped my hd from thrashing (whilst cache read the cd data etc.) but that totally threw me.

anyone else pull all their hair out?

Same for me. I leave at 12h00 gmt+1 and now i cant log.

it must be serious, cos i can't register on their web site either, it just gives unexpected errors (when is an error expected?!), plus... i forgot my stupid EA log on name...

Well, I didn't go so far as to reinstall Shogun, but the logon problem did get me to scan for viruses. I just tried, and you still can't logon.

Funny how the full install stops that hard disk thrashing. I'm going to be very sorry that I didn't do a fully install the day my disk drive fails.

i didn't find the thrashing problem till long after i started playin the game, it only started thrashing a few months later... weird. any news cape?

someone has to get this news widespread cos there's gonna be a whole bunch of ppl reinstalling shogun, if they're anything like me (i guess i'm a minority at the moment though)

plus: it's bad enough having that cd key in use error everytime i play, something has to be done!

I am also having problems with internet play.
When im trying to logon to EA i says that the password is incorect, altough it isnt.
