Got lettuce (http://d.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20070228/capt.mla11102281000.philippines_vegetarianism_mla111.jpg)
A tried and true method to sell an idea. No lettuce leaves were harmed in the making of this advertisement.
I suppose a joke about exploiting dumb animals would be entirely unfair to the young lady in the picture?

That advert would have been much better with rocket leaves.
Tsk, there's always SOMEONE who has to spoil it for the rest isn't there...

Where is a horse when you most need one?
It should get their website some hits

Here's more about the Lettuce Ladies (http://www.lettuceladies.com/meet.html) and the Broccoli Boys (http://www.lettuceladies.com/broc.html). For promoting vegetarianism, they are showing a lot of flesh.

Oaty, I'm just trying to show some self restraint. I had a couple of choice comments about "lettuce and tomatoes" and "salad dressing" in my post above, but decided not to inflict my brand of pun-ishment on this thread. Now aren't you glad that I didn't make these comments? 'Twas a near thing.:sweatdrop:
