I didn't have to bargain for it, I didn't have to make a false term or anything for those votes. I, just from turn one, decided to be as honest and deplomatic as I could be without taking someones lands from them or being a tyrant. I have been going around the world with my army of deplomats allying EVERYONE and I am been at peace for most of my existance.
Nice, well done.
Although I have to admit when i saw the thread title and considering the negetivity on these forums I expected you to be talking about the game cost:laugh4:.

Wow, well you're one of the few able to have done that out of pure piety. Even if I want to, I can't stay out of war to save my life. :wall:
Ready to laugh, the newly elected pope died the next turn. ARGGGGGGG, that is the second time I got my guy elected and we lost him within a few turns.

Not really tough at all really. Allies will always vote for you regardless of relations, unless they are allied with someone else who has a preferati and have better relations with them.

Wow, Nice man. I get a lot of Popes but I never get that many votes, just straight up ridiculous.

In my last game I had all 15 cardinals, the next election didn't even occur, my next Pope just got automatically elected, as there were no other factions cardinals to contend it.

In my Sicilian game I think I'm allied with everyone, except Milan because they recently attacked me, and Russia, because I haven't yet gotten a diplomat up there. I've only attacked Rebels, so I'm fully expecting to have a similar result. Unfortunately I might have a similar short lived Pope...
My Princess had a charm of 5 before she started getting secret and obsessed lovers, reducing her effectiveness. I got so many offers of marriage, and I had turned down a very nice general, but it would've meant losing my princess powerhouse of diplomacy :laugh4:
I started off my negotiations with Trade Rights and then went right to Alliance and Map Info/Map Info. I was going to take a screen shot but I wanted to wait until I had the Russians onside. Unfortunately it seems I'm going to have to convince the Pope to excom those damn Milanese.
