It's official, a Warhammer 40K mmorpg is in the works. THQ is the publisher and Vigil is the developer...

I was really looking forward to the realm vs. realm and pvp aspect of the upcoming WH: Age of Reckoning mmorpg due out this year but now I'm positively drooling in anticipation of a WH40K based game. Space Marines, Chaos, Orks, Tau & Eldar. No happyassed good and evil. No alliances. No magic sword of whatzitz. Pure sci-fi carnage.. wheee! :2thumbsup:
If Vigil/THQ can concentrate on developing the action and strategy aspect of this mmo (i.e. pvp & faction vs faction combat) and minimize the loot oriented, pve gameplay that makes most mmo's incredibly dull then it should be a smash hit.
