In my Roman campaign I came across an end of turn CTD during the winter of 200 BC. I turned fow off and took a look as it was occuring during The Hayasdan's turn. Everything flows smoothly until one of the Hai faction members attacks a getai army in a steppe territory. The Hayasdan army is defeated with the assistance of of a nearby getai reinforcement army. The CTD occurs following the retreat of the Hayasdan army, before the next factions turn. I checked settlements for revolts, as I have seen this cause CTDs prior, there were none.
I have uploaded my save file and as soon as I can I will add the link.

Thank you for your report! If it concerns what I hope, you may have saved us a lot of time :2thumbsup:.

Excellent!!! We have been dying to get our hands on a save game with this bug!!! Thanks!! :2thumbsup:
Gah. In my tests, the game CTD's during or following the Getai turn, and they DO have a city with high unrest (Gelonus - in fact it's empty!) So, sadly, it looks like one more instance of the now-fixed rebel city bug. Can somebody else download this file and confirm?
FWIW, I'm also seeing "Baktrian Belgium" on the strat map, so there may be map.rwm issues here as well.

I shall test that save again, but I had no bactrians in Belgium in my game, nor did it CTD during the getai turn. I used a clean install of Rome 1.5 and the .81 full patch. This is the only campaign i have played using this installation. I'll take a look and post again.

@Kull: You're trying to run it with the current internal version? Because that version is not save game compatible, as far as I can tell. (.81 saves always mess up with map.rwm, and the Greek Bodyguard issue.)

Ok, I have done two additional tests, the Hayasdan faction member must lose his battle, otherwise the getai take their turn. In my additional tests the Hayasdan won and no CTD occured, or the Hayasdan lost and the CTD did occur before the getai turn occured.

No, I'm running it with v.81, no hotfix.

No. The border of Belgium is blue, even though it's owned by the Sweboz. (and the province looks blue on the tiny world map window)

Actually, Belgium is owned by the aedui. I am going to test the city revolt thingy again by adding a unit to that city you mentioned earlier and see what happens. It could be that the ctd just appears to happen on Hayasdan's turn following their battle loss. I shall report.

After testing again and adding 6 units to that town to stabalize it the CTD did not occur, so its not a reinforcement CTD it just looked like one to me. :sweatdrop: I still maintain that no Baktrians are present in Belgium.
I figured I download it and give it a try.
I end the turn and nothing. 1/2-1 minute later its my turn. I never get a ctd when I download someone elses ctd-saves ~:mecry:

There aren't any. But nevertheless, according to the map, there ARE (see below). This is typical of map.rwm problems. BTW, there are two "Belgian" provinces, not one. In your game the Aedui hold one and Sweboz the other.

Actually, it comes twofold:
One Eleutheroi province having Baktrian colour borders, and one Baktrian province having Eleutheroi colour borders. And if you look at the actual settlements, you'll see an Eleutheroi stack in the blue province - everything indicates that it's not Baktrian, except for the province borders, and vice versa.

My campaign map doesnt look like that but I'm not worried. Thanks for taking the time to respond. BTW, this is a very good mod, and I've been playing since v.72 off and on.

That is probably because you still have the 080 map.rwm. If you have the wrong map.rwm, there will be bugs. If you start a game with the wrong map.rwm, then delete it, the load; there will be even more bugs. This blue belgium is one of those 'more bugs', though it is proof that you started the game with a 080 map.rwm.
