Hello all, Im playing a KH campaign and I just took Ambrakia...I know you can recruit elephants there, but what I don't know is If I need to place a GOV I and build a high enough MIC or a GOV IV and build a high enough reg MIC...anybody knows? Thanks!

Good question.
I have exactly the same question for the region of Qataban.
I tried,without sucess,both options.(Gov 1 or 4,high MIC´s)
There is a center for training of elephants there.....
Am I doing something wrong,or that option is disabled?

I never saw an Gov 4 do the trick, but had plenty of Gov 3's that did.

Can KH even recruit elephants in Ambrakia? I thought that was Epirus only.

I think the resource in Qataban is to represent an ivory market and not trainable elephants. Head over to the three Nubian territories if you want elephants.

Although KH and Epeiros share the same Faction MIC, only Epeiros can recruit elephants with it, and only in the single province.


I think the resource in Qataban is to represent an ivory market and not trainable elephants. Head over to the three Nubian territories if you want elephants.

Elephants are recruitable in select provinces in Africa and India only (other than the one instance of Epeiros in Europe).

Hi, first I have to say that this is a really nice forum for a splendid mod, so I want to thank the makers of EB, its one of the best mods for RTW, although it is not even finished yet!
Now, my thread-concerning question: I'm playing as Arche Seleukeia and I'd like to know if I have to expand to India to get Elephants or if there is a settlement which is already able to recruit them.
