after playing Snake in the arcade again for old times' sake, I got a message that it couldn't send the score. Is this a possible error with the game/board ? It used to work just fine (err.. a year or so ago anyway).
It's saying: could not retrieve scores. But then it enters your score into the database and allows to add a comment.
I see date 01-20-06 1:10 for you. But is it the new score?

I've never beaten that score, it was just something I noticed when playing. Thanks for checking !

The Arcade uses its own table for the names. That one is not updated when changing the forum username.

I think that's to do with how the scores are submitted. Normally a game presents a screen that says something like Congratulations General Boreaus Brittanicus, this was your score do you want to submit it? It's likely using the name from the default nametable. When stored it's using the name from the Arcade table. Snake appears to skip the congrats part and jumps directly to the scoretable.
Confusing, and not how a SQL database would be made normally, but there may be some coding problem that forced to do it how it's done, or made it easier to code.

You're welcome.
