Just a quick question, really. I think it makes alot more sense if Galatia rebeled to the Getai instead if the Arveni. After all, the Galatians were supposed to come from the same general area as the Getai, I think.
Also, it would stop the end;ess Arveni-Pontus Wars. In my KH campaign, I watched many small Pontus armies try to march to Gaul, only to get slaughtered by the Romans.

They were Gauls, not Getai. They travelled with Brennus (sp?) who turned round and sacked the temple at Delphi (is that right) and stole all its gold.

That is the only benefit from such change, but it just ain't historical.

I really don't see why they just can't remain strong rebels with a unique Gallic local MIC when a faction conquers them and builds a Type IV Government. They did not historically jooin the Arverni, did they? Why is it necessary to give Galatia to a Gallic faction?

If we could do that we would CA, but there has to be a faction listed in the creator and culture slot, and they are gallic culture - with those units, buildings, names, etc., so it has to be a gallic faction. End of story. You list rebel in there and they will look like Greeks.
Plus didn't Galatians have a senate, Aedui style?

Yup.
At this point, the Galatians consisted of three tribes centered around three towns: the Tolistboboii (Pessinus), the Tectosages (Ancyra, or modern Ankara) and the Trocmi (Tavium). Each tribe divided its territory into canton-like tetrarchies, ruled by a tetrarch supported by a judge and a general. Until the imposition of Roman-supported Kings, Galatia was ruled by a council of tetrarchs and by a 300 man Senate that met periodically at Drynemeton, near Ancyra.
