Hello,
My first posting. Before I begin I want to say how much I like the Mod EB. I am sure there have been many hours put into this mod (I have played a number of games...miniatures....board games...now computer games for decades - started gaming back in 1963/64 - and have a number of times done my own beta testing for various companies along the way...so I know the work that is involved).
Now to the reason for my thread....
I have using the full install of the mod v0.8.1a after a clean/vanilla install of Rome TW which was patched to v 1.5.
The game was in its 10th year, I believe, and suddenly I noted that the year had jumped from 262 BC (or there abouts) to 35 AD. Now I was able to play a few more years till summer of 38 but then the game crashes. It loads up...but when I click on end of turn...as the game runs through some of the other countries the last one being Hellene the game crashes ~ .
I have uploaded the autosave file (dated 3/11...12:58 PM...2.04 MGs) to axifile.
If any other information is needed...please ask.
Thank you....

The jump from 262 BC to 35 AD should not be possible... It should be well over a hundred turns spent before you're at vanilla 35 AD. Know that if you start the script again when you reload the game (click one of your settlements), the calendar is corrected. But that does not explain the AI turn crash.

For us to be able to check it out, you need to not only upload the save file, you must also post a link to that file here.

Hello...

Thanks for the quick response...here is the link where the CTD file is.

Now to the other item...you mentioned the following: Know that if you start the script again when you reload the game (click one of your settlements), the calendar is corrected. Now I think I understand what you are telling me to do...I tried to make the changes by clicking on a settlement but it did not work. I am assuming I messed something up :dizzy2: . So if you could explain again.
Thanks for you help.....:2thumbsup:

Ah... those time warp things...

You activate the script, and you're being teleported somewhere AD ish? Well, click another one of your settlements, and see if the advisor asks you to activate the script again. If he does: do just that and you're being teleported right back.

I believe it's something with old content vs new content causing trouble - map.rwm ish stuff. :idea2:

Many thanks....that seems to have allowed me to continue the game....having the date go back to where it should be....summer of 260 BC. Now I was able to play another 3 turns..and then another CTD...but then when I was going to the script...it did not happen again and I was able to go to the next turn. I will monitor.
Thanks again...

A new EDB has been posted (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=81220) that might solve this CTD.
