Bonjourno !
I hope you can help. I recently completed a crusade and I experience a nationwide bonus of 25% in the happyness stakes. Any hard or fast rules on this? How long will it remain how do I get it how much do I get for completed crusades and other actions?

You get 30% on the turn of completion.
This decreases by 5% every turn (or was it 2 turns?) until it hits 0.
Bonus is from people being happy about successful crusade.
This is kind of off-topic, but wouldn't it be great if the "glory" bonus didn't completely dimminish over time, but leave something like 5% bonus for each crusade? If I was a citizen of a country with a history of successful crusades, I'd be proud and happy about it whether it happened 5 years ago or 50.

It would also mean that by the time say 55 turns have passed, you would have a permanent 25% PO bonus in all your towns (start crusade and end on same turn, 10 turn delay between crusades, allow 5 turns initially to get 8 units for a crusade and papal favor) and in 100 50%, meaning you won't even need a garrison in most your cities and castles.

On a related note, there are two types of this. One is Glory, and one is Triumph. The triumph comes from crusades and starts at 30%, but what are the mechanics for the Glory bonus? Seems to me that it is linked with great victories somehow...
Anyone know the mechanics for this?

You get glory if you fulfill your victory conditions. This one's permanent.
