Ok first of all how do you get all the factions to work? I tried to follow the directions in the section with all the factions in it but it kept telling me that the file was read only...

and second, is there any way to get rid of the fog of war?

Right-click on the file itself and go into "properties". Remove the check next to "read-only".

and second, is there any way to get rid of the fog of war?
press the ` key on your keyboard (left of the 1 button). A semi-transparent command prompt will show up. Type "toggle_fow" (without the quote marks).

Just some advice. Turn FOW off before you hit end turn. Depending on if you have the game to follow the AI or not, it may take a long time for your turn to come up again.

He actually means turn it back on again :beam: because if you leave it off and you have 'follow ai movements' set to true, you will track every single movement made by every single faction in the game :grin2:
