Seems there's some people holed up in the clinic...I wonder who it is?
I would call them: my victims who managed to escape alive.

Okay, determining results.

In the future I think I might require a day to do this.

Once people start dying off it should be much easier though.

Okay, in case you haven't taken the hint yet, I'm officially declaring this game dead. Apologies to all who took the time out to play.

For the next several weeks my time on the .Org is going to be extremely limited and I simply won't be able to keep this game running, even with around 1/2 of the players dead.

Hopefully I'll be able to post a recap of all the rounds that happened so far. Again, apologies to all.

Kommodus
04-25-2007, 23:58
Oh well, I died anyway. :wizard:

Here's my brief story:

Started out with what seemed to me to be a big disadvantage. Here's my opening PM:

Physical rating: 3
Survival rating: 5

Weapon: potassium cyanide (small bottle of poison) (unrateable)

Comments: You're entirely unremarkable in the survival department, and regarded as something of a joke physically. However, you do have a bottle of poison. If someone is stupid enough to trust you, well... I'll leave that up to you.

So my stats were lousy and my weapon was basically a dud. Thanks, GH! :laugh4:

I decided that most of my time would be spent running, hiding, and generally avoiding people. To that end I went looking for places I thought most people wouldn't go to.

Turn 1:

Went to the clinic; mildly surprised to find no one else there. Picked up some medical supplies and a small amount of food.

Instructions to GH upon finding someone are basically: attempt to befriend and request alliance; if attacked, run like mad. In general I keep these throughout the game.

Turn 2:

Continued north, entering and exploring the mansion, hoping to find some sort of weapon besides a silly bottle of poison. Found substantial food supplies; also scavanged a sword from a suit of armor. Not that a guy with my frail physique could wield it very effectively, but at least now I have some kind of means to protect myself.

Still haven't met anyone; I'm feeling surprisingly lucky.

Turn 3:

Went to the lighthouse to explore; also hoping that its height might give me a better view. Encountered RoadKill. I managed to surprise him, but since my instructions said to request alliance, I did and he accepted.

What to do now? RoadKill says he has information about the whereabouts of the other combatants, and shares some of it with me. Later it comes out that he has binoculars. These would be useful if stolen, but right now I'd rather have an ally. Individually neither of us is that strong, but together we might have a chance against stronger combatants.

Turn 4:

RoadKill and I decide to wait in the lighthouse and ambush anyone that approaches. I watch the door while he goes up top to look around. No one approaches; RoadKill gives me a little more information about what other people are doing.

Turn 5:

I convince RoadKill that we should be a little bolder, arguing that if we simply wait here we'll be killed by someone with a more powerful weapon. We need to take the initiative, giving ourselves a chance to get better weapons so we have a chance in the endgame.

We agree to head for the clinic together, attacking anyone we meet on the way. We get there to find the place practically destroyed. As soon as I enter I am ambushed by sapi, who starts strangling me with banjo strings. RoadKill betrays and abandons me, fleeing back to the lighthouse. Of course I have no chance against the physically stronger sapi. :skull:

Thanks for the game, GH - even if it did get cut short! :balloon2:

04-26-2007, 00:03
Haha, Kommodus thanks for tricking me. You didn't tell me you had a bottle of poisen with you. Oh well on turn 4 I almost decided to betray you and kill you in ur sleep, but I decided to go a little further with you.

Sasaki Kojiro

Physical rating: 7
Survival rating: 3

Weapon: crossbow (7)

Comments: You're in pretty good shape, although quite clumsy, which could give you away in a critical position. Your weapon is not ideal for close-range battles but as close to a sniper rifle as it gets.

Start off with a nice weapon. Headed to the orchard, with orders to befriend.

You arrive at the orchard, and nobody is there. You start to gather apples.

Shortly after, you are joined by Twilightblade and BlackAxe3001, who do not arrive together. You offer an alliance, and they accept. Before you can discuss logistics, Cimmerian arrives and asks for an alliance with TwilightBlade, who accepts. The four of you are now together.

pevergreen stumbles in some minutes later. Cimmerian asks him to join the alliance, but pever takes his Walther PPK and blows Cimmerian's head off before he can say anything. He turns to BlackAxe and wounds him in the leg, however the three of you quickly take out your weapons and fire on pevergreen, killing him.

It is now Turn 2. You are in the apple orchard, with BlackAxe3001 and TwilightBlade. Twilight has a Smith & Wesson MP semiautomatic pistol, and BlackAxe has a Colt Python magnum revolver. You must decide who gets pever's weapon (Walther PPK semiautomatic) and Cimmerian's (army knife).

The three of you may freely PM since you are in an alliance. You all have seven turns of food and six of water left

Twilightblade goes off on his own for some reason.

You and BlackAxe go to the well, fill up on water, and find a good hiding spot. You now carry the PPK, he carries the knife. Twilightblade headed in the direction of the mountain. You encounter nobody new.

It is now Turn 3. You have six turns of food and seven turns of water now (seven turns max unless you have an alternative supply source).

Before you and BlackAxe head out to D3, you see someone in the church steeple waving over. You pretend not to notice. A second later, he rings the bell, but the two of you still ignore him.

Once in D3, you snipe BlackAxe without incident. It takes three shots. You quickly go through his stuff, taking his two weapons (Colt Python magnum: 7 and army knife: 5), as well as food/water. You hide the body and stay in D3, waiting for the announcement of what has transpired these past 6 hours.

It is now Turn 4. You have plenty of food and water.

I kill BlackAxe ~D

Leaves me with 2 pistols a knife and a crossbow and full food and water. I hid the rest of the game, waiting for other people to kill each other.

Good game!

Also, sorry about the messup with the rules GH. Ichi had been pm'ing me from the start of the game so I forgot you weren't allowed to do that.

Physical Rating: 4
Survival Rating: 9

Weapon: Binoculors Rating: 0

TURN 1
You make your way to the lighthouse, and see Motep entering ahead of you. You hear him going up the steps and decide that you can sneak in without him hearing. You do so.

A couple of minutes later, Caius Flaminius and HughTower enter at the same time. Caius pulls out a gun and hits Hugh. However, before Caius can pull off a second shot, Hugh throws a grenade at him. As Caius tosses it aside, Hugh is preparing to throw another one, but then Motep comes down the stairs with an UZI submachine gun (rating: 9), killing them both. He collects their weapons and food. He did not notice you. You're in something of a pickle now. Can you continue to hide?

It is now Turn 2. You have enough supplies to last for four turns. If you want to risk heading into the kitchen area, you can get more, but that's up to you.

( Becuase of my survival Skills I decided to hide hear for a while and scout the place till everyones done killing each other )

Turn 2
You observe Motep leaving the lighthouse. Thank God! You run up to the top, where you see him entering the woods. One thing that catches your eye is smoke to the south. Using your binoculars, you see that Faust| has set fire to the general supply store and heads toward the direction of the bomb shelter. He enters it, but does not exit. You do not see anyone entering the house.

To the southwest, Sasaki Kojiro is helping the injured BlackAxe3001 to the well.

To the northwest, you see Kommodus entering the mansion.

To the west, you see Twilightblade shoot Warluster on the northern mountain's viewing platform.

It is now Turn 3. You have plenty of food and water now that the lighthouse is yours.
( I TOLD YOU GUYS!! I could see all of you but you guys all took it as a joke )

TURN 3
You go back down the lighthouse, searching for a weapon. All you find is a carving knife (rating: 4), but it's better than nothing.

Right when you find the knife, however, the door opens and you find Kommodus staring at you. You had no time to prepare to set up an ambush, so you are faced with a difficult situation. He has a sword (rating: 5), which is longer than your knife.

However, he solves the problem by proposing an alliance, which you agree to. The two of you are now allies and may freely PM.

It is now Turn 4. You have plenty of food and water.
( Here I did not know what to do, all he had was a sword, so I had intentions of betraying and killing kommodus here, but I decided not to and play along with him for a while. )

TURN 4
While Kommodus sets up an ambush, you go back up to check things out. There are no weapons that can be used, unfortunately. However, your binoculars see much.

Twilightblade still claims the northern mountain.

You see OldSchool entering the medical clinic. Seconds later, you see a series of explosions coming from that same clinic. The building isn't burning down, but it's safe to assume that another person has died.

You see Motep entering the church coming from the direction of the clinic.

Everyone else is staying put. Kommodus doesn't need to ambush anybody.

It is now Turn 5. You have plenty of supplies.
( My intentions for turn 5 was to always follor kommodus in a distance and wait to kill him, but sapi got to him first so I ran back to the lighthouse.)

And for what was going to be Turn 6, I allied with Ichigo and Doc_bean at the lighthouse, and decided to go together to the clinic again to slaughter sapi. But once again I had intentions to betray and kill both. As Ichigo has a radar and Doc_beans got a gun. PS: Ichigo, I was going to kill you with sasaki to steal your radar lmfao.

Yes, as it says in Roadkill's post, I set fire to the Supply store... now that the game's over I'll apologize for that :sweatdrop: . Here's my character/actions:

______
"Physical rating: 4
Survival rating: 4

Weapon: Bulletproof vest (unrateable)

Comments: A slightly below-average player buoyed by a bulletproof vest. This will protect you from all gunfire in the chest/torso area. However, it does not protect you from wounds in the arms, legs, or head."

...The stats and lack of a weapon basically forced me into being willful in the extreme. It also meant I had to take large risks early in the game. My main goal up to where the game ended was to get a firearm.

__________

Turn 1: Ran like mad to Supply Store where I rummaged through things and found an army knife (rating 5). I had plans to pose as a clerk there, but Andres the Cunning walked in just then and right away asked for an alliance. I answered by cutting his throat with the brand new knife. End of conversation (Sorry Andres, all luck :beam: ). From him I got a truth serum.

Turn 2: In the store I set a "flammable liquid aisle" on fire using some flammable liquids after which I ran north to the bomb shelter. Goal was to force players in the area to try to resupply at the bomb shelter, where I would hopefully be waiting in ambush. However, I myself was ambushed as I entered the shelter by GBB who was wielding a scythe (!). Fortunately the vest spared me. Thanking him for kindly striking me on my protected area, I then killed GBB with the army knife. I then took his scythe, killed the lights, disguised the light switch, and set up a little barrier to conceal myself and shield (hopefully) against possible grenades dropping into the shelter. There was enough food and water in the shelter to last the entire game. In addition, I suppose I had some food from the supply store, as well as the stuff GBB was carrying.

Turn 3, 4, and 5: These turns consisted of waiting in the darkness, as quietly as I could. I received no visitors, however.

Sometime around turn 4 Sasaski sent me a pm asking if I wanted to go hunt someone down with him. Fortunately I had participated in a GH mafia game before, where Sasaki is a perrenial, so to him I kindly replied: "no thanks, I'm cool."

edit: I'm sorry the game ended prematurely, it was quite enjoyable.

We should start another game.

This is what happened to me:

I had a hand axe (rating of 4), and a physical and survival rating of 7.

I headed over to the church searching for a weapon, and this is what happened:

"You arrive at the church to see Lucjan already there, preparing things. Delighted at this turn of events, you request an alliance with him.

However, he turns around with an evil grin on his face. He has an Ingram MAC-10 submachine gun. Oh dear. You try to run away for dear life but unfortunately the bullets find you. You are dead."

I didn't have a chance.

If no one else does, I would be interested in hosting one.

My rating were high 7 and 8 i think.

My pistol was a 9. I really shouldnt have convinced everyone to go to the orchard, and then chose reaction to meeting someone as "Instantly Attack"

LOL is that what you did. Thanks for the pistol btw.

04-26-2007, 04:55

I forced Cimmerian and Twilightblade to go there as well.

I told them to request alliances as their actions, forgetting that i had "kill everyone" as mine. Making new thread now.

I have been in ambush at the cliffs for the entire game
I think I had the highest Survival and Physical rating of everyone

Physical rating: 10
Survival rating: 9

Weapon: katana (5)

Comments: Whoa. People need to fear you and your mighty sword. That is, unless they have a gun.

SPECIAL

You have a mission in this game. You work for the government and are to identify potential targets that might want to escape the game and storm the school. Once this has been completed, you will be evacuated from the game.

Targets:

Ichigo
doc_bean

Good luck.

You arrive at the reef. It is deserted, and nobody you can see is in the area.

It is now Turn 2. You have six turns of food and water left.

You stay at the reef, preparing an ambush which is not needed since it is once again deserted. You can see and smell smoke to the northeast.

It is now Turn 3. You have five turns of food and water left.

You stay at the reef, continuing in ambush position. After a while, with still nobody coming, you try your hand fishing. You don't have much luck fishing but luckily you can build a fire (with your high survival rating) so you do refill your water supply.

It is now Turn 4. You have four turns of food and seven turns of water left.

You stay in ambush position, putting out your fire. This was a good move, as finally, FINALLY, you see someone approaching. It is Warmaster Horus, and he has a baseball bat (rating: 6) as his weapon.

He walks right into your path, unsuspecting of what awaits him. You get the jump on him and engage him briefly before chopping off his head and taking his stuff.

It is now Turn 5. You have seven turns of food left and plenty of water.

You stay at the reef, hoping that someone else like Horus comes along. However, no one does.

It is now Turn 6. You have six turns of food left and plenty of water.

Right, by now I got to know something of the whereabouts of Ichigo, so I finally decided to move out, Ninja-style, so that I would atleast be save from attacks, as I didn't want to get myself killed.

My orders were always to kill anyone that I met, but to preserve my life at all costs.

Physical rating: 10
Survival rating: 10

Weapon: banjo (1)

Comments: Wow, look at you. You were meant for this game. This island should rightfully be your stomping grounds. But alas, you're stuck with a banjo. Maybe the strings are good for something. Oh well, there are people out there with better weapons.
Started in the woods

You make your way to the woods and build a little fort for yourself. There is no action in your area.

It is now Turn 2. You have six turns of food and water left.
Ordered to stay put

You continue to make improvements to your fort.

After some time, you see Motep coming in, looking around for people. What you see is not good. In his left hand he holds an UZI submachine gun (rating: 9) and in his left he holds a grenade. You can't compete with that firepower and abandon your fort to hide deeper in the woods.

From your new hiding spot you see that Motep has noticed the fort and taken it over. You do not dare to build a new one.

It is now Turn 3. You have five turns of food and water left.
Ordered to stay put

You stay in the woods, continuing to observe Motep. He booby-traps your fort with numerous grenades, then departs, heading south. You stay where you are. The fort is too dangerous to enter, and once again nobody comes into the woods.

It is now Turn 4. You have four turns of food and water left.
Ordered to wait and ambush Motep if he returns.

You stay in the woods, determined to ambush Motep, who took over your fort and made it too difficult to reclaim it. However, once again, the woods are deserted. Perhaps it would be better if you moved, since you are starting to run low on supplies.

It is now Turn 5. You have three turns of food and water left.
Ordered to clinic to top up on supplies

You head to the clinic, staying stealthy. Once there, you realize that no supplies will be found there.

1) The place is raided. Evidently at least one person, probably others, have been here before you.

2) It looks like a war zone. Small explosion marks are liberally sprinkled throughout the clinic, and you see the body of OldSchool, charred to a crisp, at the entrance way. His weapon (CZ75 - rating: 8) and his supplies are sadly unusable.

You're about to leave when you see two people heading your way. Neither have guns. Banjo strings at the ready, you ambush the first one - Kommodus - when he enters. The second, RoadKill, runs away in the direction of the lighthouse.

Kommodus has a nasty sword (rating: 5) but sadly can't make use of it in his situation. You strangle him to death and take his many supplies as your own.

You now possess, along with your banjo:

Sword (rating: 5)
small bottle of poison
Several medical supplies

In addition, he was loaded with food and water. Maybe coming here wasn't such a bad thing after all.

It is now Turn 6. You have plenty of supplies.

Physical Rating 2
Survival Rating 8 or so
Weaon: BOMB! DAMAGE 10!

Unfortunately my weapon was one-use-only, and not good in a firefight. I spent my time hiding. I was going to blow up the southern suply room, but someone beat me to it. This was me:

Physical rating: 7
Survival rating: 3

Weapon: car keys (unrateable)

Comments: Not too bad physically, not too good survival-wise. Somewhere on the island is a car that can be driven with your keys. Happy hunting!

The first thing I set out to do was find my car, and see if there could be something useful to do with it - something other than running people over with it. I moved to the residential area and tried using my key on the cars found there, to no avail. I even managed to get sniped in the leg, and fled into a house to regain my strength and maybe find some sort of a better weapon, like a knife.

Sadly, I was visited by TinCow, who breached the door, searched the house, and put two rounds of his semi automatic in my chest. Game over !

SPECIAL

You have a special mission: Help escape the game. Ichigo will assist you in this. Try to meet up with him. However, you also know that many times the government plants agents in to eliminate potential threats, and usually arm them with a katana.

I didn't have a chance to do much, i was just building up alliances.

That was me who shot you in the leg. I followed the blood trail to finish you off. rdeče.jabolko was in the same place when I killed you and we got into a standoff situation for a bit, until we negotiated a truce. We then went back out to the road and setup and ambush, so that anyone who came down the road in the residential area would have been shot at from two sides. As an added bonus, I tossed the car keys I took off your body into the middle of the road, right where our crossfire converged. Anyone who tried to pick them up would have been toast. We both had plenty of food and water in our ambush spots and would have waited for a long time to kill a few people.

Comments: You have decent physical attributes, but never prepared for this sort of situation and as a result your survivalism isn't all that good. However, you have a nice gun. That can possibly be better than any rating.

I no longer have my Turn 1 orders, but they were essentially to go to the residential area, hide in a house along the road, and shoot anyone I see coming up the street.

You arrive at the residential area and hide in a house, observing the main road. You see Dutch_guy coming down, alone. He has keys in his hand and is trying them in every car, with no luck. You quickly fire your gun, however, you didn't have a really good angle and thus couldn't kill him outright. Dutch yelps and runs off. You obviously hit him, and can see a trail of blood. However, you decide not to break cover.

It is now Turn 2. You have plenty of supplies if you stay in the house, but if you leave you will have seven turns of bread and water (you found some in the house).

I will follow the trail of blood and attempt to kill Dutch_guy. I will break off pursuit and hide in another house if:

1) I lose the blood trail.
2) I see multiple people together.
3) The blood trail leaves residential area in F6, F7, G6, G7.

During the pursuit, I will move slowly and quietly and will not speak under any circumstances. My goal will be to sneak up on him (or anyone else I encounter alone during my trek) and kill him without him detecting me.

If I kill someone, I will grab their stuff and hide in a house.

You leave your position to track Dutch_guy. The trail enters a house at F6, so you enter. You see Dutch with a knife, trying to escape through a window, but you shoot him twice. He slumps over, dead. You rifle through his stuff, finding only bread and water, as well as car keys (will start one car on the island).

However, you are soon interrupted by rdeče.jabolko coming in. It appears that he also tracked the trail of blood. You fire a shot, but he dodges. He fires back with his shotgun (rating: 8) but you dive for cover.

It is now Turn 3. You and rdeče are both in a situation very similar to that of World War I trench warfare. However, he has the choice of escaping. You don't.

I try to find the most easily defensible position available to me. Preferably a place that has only one entrance or perhaps two entrances that I can see at the same time. I create a barricade in front of me with whatever is available and wait... watching the entrance(s). Anything that comes through it/them I shoot at. I will continue firing from a defensive position until they're dead, I'm dead, or they're gone.

I will remain in this position unless it somehow becomes obvious to me that rdeče has left. If he leaves, I will move to another house near the road in G6 and hide.

After I submitted the above orders, rdeče.jabolko and I negotiated a truce/alliance, resulting in a change of orders.

This replaces the previously submitted orders. I will cooperate with rdeče.jabolko and we have become temporary partners. However, I do not fully trust him at the moment. While I am with him, I will keep my eye on him and try not to turn my back on him. If I see him make an aggressive act towards me I will try to escape or defend myself.

For my part of the partnership, I will move to G6 and take up a position on the second floor of a house that overlooks the main road. This house should be across the street from the house that rdeče.jabolko picks for himself. I will take a position where I can see the main road and all that approaches us.

I will open fire on anything that comes down the road when it gets into a range where it can be hit by crossfire from both of us. I will hold fire only if it is obvious that we are totally out-gunned.

If possible, I will fortify myself in this position by piling furniture and anything else I find into doorways or other entrances into the room.

You and rdeče.jabolko head for G6. Both of you try to stay behind the other, and you both notice this, laughing and staying side-by-side.

You take your position, but nobody comes down the main road.

It is now Turn 4. Since you are in a house, you have plenty of supplies.

I will remain in ambush position in the house. I will shoot anything that enters the crossfore between rdeče.jabolko and myself, unless it is obvious that we are heavily outgunned.

I will do two other things this turn as well:
First, I will throw the car keys that I took off of Dutch_guy into the middle of our crossfire area.

Second, I will attempt to barricade the entrances to the room I am hiding in so that I can more easily defend my position if the house is stormed.

You stay where you are, tossing your car keys out into the crossfire region. However, nobody comes by to take the bait. Despite this, you still barricade yourself in, ready for anybody that might attack.

It is now Turn 5. You have plenty of supplies.

I will remain in ambush position with the same plan as before.
