Marian Reforms question (Possible Spoiler)

I have read the FAQ and one of the conditions is to have an intelligent/charismatic/vigorous character, but the best characters I have are sharp/charismatic/vigorous and I have never seen an intelligent one. So my question is: is sharp the same to intelligent in 0.8 as I used to remember a few intelligent characters in 0.74? Or have I to wait to an intelligent not sharp one?
