Long story short: yesterday I discovered how I could log on to a lab computer running Linux from my own computer at home running Windows, I thought this was très cool. I believe I actually made excited noises out loud (the "cool !" and "woohoo !" kind, you pervs).
Have I totally passed on to the dark side on computer geekdom now ?
note to the mods: if you don't think this is the right forum for such a topic, please move it to the frontroom

With Linux you can tap into the limitless power of community!
(voted Gah)
Yes.
Actually, I'd be excited about that as well but I'm lacking the incentive to bother with Linux.:sweatdrop:
Can anyone tell me why the spoiler tags don't work? Anything changed? Can't I spell anymore? Am I not enough of a geek to be allowed to use them?

don't seem to be working for me either now...
EDIT: normally i'd say capitalize, but that didn't work testing !
Well, they should be working.
actually, make that 'they are working'. Make sure that you dont' have the box which says 'disable vbcode in this post' checked
btw, us all testing this creates some connection between us and the topic

vb code is on, it says for me. And they do seem to work in the backroom whenever someone uses them. But here I can't see any spoiler.
Being good geeks, we have to find out what causes this and pray to Tosa for help.:sweatdrop:

Maybe some geek can tell me why that is the way it is.:inquisitive:

Whoah, what's that thing above my name?
This is weird, sometimes mine works and sometimes it doesn't.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. Couldn't find a pattern, either - at first I thought it was only not working when I'd do a preview thread, but it turned out that sometimes it did, sometimes it didn't. Randomly...
Now Sasaki's spoiler really works.:inquisitive:
And that thing above your name is the time in Germany or what did you mean?
