I was looking at some of the traits of my generals... my warriors often are apparently extremely foul-mouthed. Had me wondering if it contagious, or encouraged by certain building or even acilliary, or just a result of his stats? ;) But from there I got to wondering if cultures of the ancient world had not only foul language, but also hand gestures like a version of "giving the finger". Is there any surviving record of Roman/Greek "swear-words"? I think Suetonious wrote such a book (er... or so someone told me).
