Upgrades

Does anyone know if RTW and Shogun TW will work on Windows Vista? I assume Medieval 2 will but don't know about the others.

Hi the pasta king,
I am rather sure that R:TW will most certainly work with Vista. However, unfortunately, I would not recommend that you do so - the performance is known to drastically decrease with the upgrade on most games not optimised for performance on this new OS, so, I suggest that, until newer and improved graphics drivers for Vista come out, that you stick with the older, yet more reliable XP.

As for S:TW, I cannot really be sure, yet, from listening to other member's experiences I would be lead to say yes. However, I have heard that there may be nasty glitches on the maps depending on your drivers, so, again, I strongly recommend that you stay with the great XP.

as far as hardware and the relevant drivers are concerned i agree completely, its just that since vista is a completely new OS rather than an upgrade to XP I was wondering if anyone already using Vista had found them to be incompatible (granted that is unlikely but better to check).
