modding with Vista [Archive]

I just loaded up Vista and now when I try to change the descrt_stat file it won't let me save changes nor can I save a copy of the file. What gives? I also added BI to RTW. Would that affect things? Thanks.

May I ask if the file set as read-only? Perhaps that could be the issue?

Nope, not read-only. I checked again for the error message and it just says that I do not have permission and to get it from the Administrator. However, I am the administrator and have full rights. I'm new to Vista but have been able to alter other programs just not RTW. Any ideas?
