Ciao everybody, I'm new in this forum as player of EB, and I ask for your patience to help me to right install EB and some MOD projects that looks great reading instructions... as for redirect if this is not the right thread...
I will install EB081full on clean RTW Gold Edition, and then "CITY MOD", "First Cohort MOD" and "Watchmans modified v2 MOD". Now the questions:
* "City MOD" have included "First Cohort MOD" so no need of both... but which one better to install?
* Watchman's MOD" have awesome graphic units (even if I would like to see more barbarians, the Celtic Warior is fantastic), but what happens installing on EB and CITY or FIRST COHORT MODS?
* EBv81a New EDB have to be installed? If yes as last or after EB or...?
Maybe I want too much installing all the above, but I am a little bit confused and before to make disasters...

Finally due to far ancients / where I live I am undecided between Arverni and Aedui, but (just curious) why two Gauls factions? Which are the differences?

I hope to have not been too annoying, and thanks for any help...

Hi and welcome teodorico,
Sorry, but I cannot answer all of your questions, however, I can answer the last questions.
Finally due to far ancients / where I live I am undecided between Arverni and Aedui, but (just curious) why two Gauls factions?I am quite sure that historically Gaul was made up of thousands of tiny tribes which were often united under larger tribes. Two of these larger tribes, the Adeui and the Avernii, were the largest of these unions, so, to add to historical accuracy, they were both included. I am, however, sorry to say that I am no historian, so you will have to check with the EB team first. Sorry.
Which are the differences?
I don't really think there are many. Mostly they have the same basic units with quite a few specific elite ones. I am however, again, not completly sure, so you will have to check with the EB team first.

Sorry about my uncertainty, hope this helps you, cheers!

Hi Omanes and thanks for the quick reply.
When I finished to wrote my first post I thought that I pretended too much and that it would have been better to say hello and stop, but the will to play EB is strong and I wanted to start with the right setup.
Thanks again

Ciao again to everybody, sorry for posting again but I cannot / I am not able to edit my previous post.
It seems to me that EB is a not easy mod to play, or anyway more difficult that others, so willing to play at H/M setup which could be a mix between most finished and not so difficult to play faction?

From EB fan to EB fan..Hello and Welcome teodorico..
Indeed EB is a very challenging Mod to play..Especially when played at the recommended settings. Since this is the Entrance Hall let me refer you to the EB sub-forum..Where all your questions can be answered with more clarity.

Thanks a lot Lysander13 and to the others for the welcome too.
I followed your suggestion and after more deeply readings I found that City, 1stCohort and Watchman's MOD can work together, because or included or based on...
