You haven't noticed all the extra polygons being rendered on the campaign map then? Take a close look at those resources that are everywhere & notice there are more trees than other maps.

it appears to have fixed itself after i rebooted game a couple times, maybe its from running the game for a couple hours

Yeah, it tends to slow down quite a bit for me too, especially after a few hours of gameplay.. A short break, a reboot, and it's all good to go for a few more hours. :beam:

There is a memory leak under 1.5, causing the game to slow down to a crawl after extended play.

Also, if you've happened to press the space bar to speed up the movement of agents on the campaign map you'll probably witness some slowdown. Just press the Space bar then end turn and it should speed up again.

Well I have solved the problem:
1) It happens less with Bi.exe but it happens also
2) It appears when you order a unit after it has no more movement points to a new localization (It doesn´t happen always but it seems that space bar helps to produce the problem)
3) To get rid off the lag just take another unit with movement avalaible an make it move just a little and lag is over.

Oh, that one.
There was a bug in earlier EB versions that I've not seen recently where diplomats & spys would get into some sort of spasm where they were apparently trying to crouch & stand up simultaneously & that caused major chugging.

you make it sound like something we've done. All we did is overload the RTW system elsewhere.

Yeah? I've only ever seen it in earlier EB versions so presumed it was to do with scripting or animation changes, maybe it just went away when I upgraded my PC but I'd given up on .74 as too buggy before that :balloon2:

It might have been a RTW 1.2 thing. I never noticed it however.

Also if you order your character/unit to travel to a location which takes several turns to get to, the game wil slow down. In my experience. :sweatdrop:
