I don't know if there is one of these already, but too bad.
Shows I watch:
Battlestar Galactica
Rome
House
Stargate Series
Prison Break
Those are the ones I watch every episode of. I just watched BSG S3EP20 and man it was amazing. EP 20 is worth watching the first 3 seasons for. Excellent show. Rome is also very excellent, I am about to watch S2EP10 here in a minute. House is good and Prison Break is excellent. Stargate is like part of my life now (10 years anyway), till they canceled SG-1, but what can you do. Prison Break amazes me with all the twists and turns they can put into the story. It's crazy. So what show do you all watch?

I watch several shows.
My Name is Earl - Brilliant show! Highly recommended!
Prisonbreak - I'm finding Season 2 pretty boring
Lost - I started watching Season 2 and now I just can't watch, no matter how tedious it can get.
The Apprentice - Yes that show with Trump. It's alright...
Survivor - When its on.

Battlestar Galactica
How did you find the 20th episode of season 3? When four of the final five are revealed! I love it - cant wait for season 4, which is presumably going to be the last season.

Prison break, and Rome at the moment. The latter is excellent, in almost every way.
:balloon2:
I don't have television, always buy my series. Currently very much enjoying Shogun, the music is a bit oldfashioned but the rest holds up pretty well. Also loved Rome, not as good as I-Claudius (imvho) but it is amazing how they make the city seem real and alive. Lost is also fun, but I hate the Dan Brownist way of building tension, never more then a tease. Watch it for that anna lucia chick mostly, looks so cute with a gun! Love miniseries, a movie is just too short to tell a good story.

The one I've seen several times (bought the DVD) and spread among my friends is Six Feet Under. Directed by Alan Ball (American Beauty). Huge.

The only show I currently make a point of tuning in for every week is the second series of Life on Mars. Well, I watch Neighbours too.
House is my favourite contemporary show, but they're not broadcasting the third series in the UK yet.

Is that the one with the gay undertaker? If it is I think it stinks, no action, only over dramatized drama.
A gay undertaker and it stinks huh

I Haven't smelled anything odd while watching it though.... Must be the stench filter I installe don my TV!! :laugh4:
Well I think I wouldn't have stood more than 5 minutes in front of it 10 years ago...
Could this come from my old age (32)? Maybe not.. I think my father would say the same thing as what you said...

24
Lost
Heroes
Battlestar Galactica
Kidnapped
Desperate Housewives (don't laugh!)
Dr Who
24-Amazing
Simpsons
That 70's Show
Family Guy

I haven't really had the oppurtunity to watch much the last few months, but of and on Carnivalé, the best series I've ever watched since Shogun. Also catching up on The State Within, a great British thriller. When it's on I'll definitely be watching Spooks again, and when I get the chance I'll catch up on Life on Mars; first episode wasn't too promising though. We'll be getting Battlestar Galactica on DVD sometime so that's one that looks promising, and I'd love to watch Enterprise properly.
Still hoping for a new series of Firefly
Scrubs

I usually avoid network television. The current shows I routinely watch are:
Dirty Jobs
Mythbusters
Deadliest Catch
Most Extreme Elimination
My wife also has me watching several shows of HGTV (Home and Garden) which are surprisingly interesting.
In the oldies category, I'm watching M*A*S*H reruns and Babylon 5 on DVD.

I would watch Rome again (I watched the 1st season pretty relgiously), but I'm reluctant to shell out the extra cash just to add the HBO channels to my cable TV package. :sweatdrop: So for now, I settle for reading the recaps on Television Without Pity (http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com).

Holy crap! I spent that entire episode going "WTF??!". I was tripping out the entire time. :dizzy2: Great episode, though!

Lost - been watching it since the beginning. Maybe it's why I have a higher tolerance with it than most. Because I've invested more time into it. :wall:
Heroes - Likewise, although I like the pace better than Lost's. Although the month-long hiatuses are getting annoying.
South Park - although not as much recently because it shares a timeslot with Lost.
Survivor - Yes, I still watch it.
Amazing Race - See above.

I don't really watch many shows with regularity, a few are:
Jeapordy- Not a huge Trebek, but the show's still usually interesting.
Pardon the Interruption- I pay more attention than I should to sports.
Family Guy- Often stupid, often ridiculous, occasionally offensive, nearly always funny.
Futurama- See above.
Samurai Champloo- Witty, quirky, good action, unfortunately the series ended quickly. Definitely an "interesting" twist on the time period.

Oh yeah, forgot Amazing Race.
The last season we got was the Family one. Gah! I almost stopped watching the show after that. It was just horrible.

The Daily Show <- Great funny pun on politics
Colbert Report <- Hahah completely random
Dirty Jobs <- Great host and really Dirty Jobs
Deadliest Catch <- Just wow
Robot Chicken <- Very funny show by Seth Green and some other guy
Samurai Champloo <- Great action packed anime with good humor. Greaterkhaan, why did it end?

I can only imagine that they ran out of ideas, I would think it's too good of a show to lose funding. Too bad, its a pity they couldn't go longer. Oh, and I think that Robot Chicken is more random than Colbert, that whole show is just random clips of dolls, action figures, and puppets.

No way! That sucks. It was awesome, I still like watching the re-runs anyways, they are pretty funny. And you are right about Robot Chicken. Colbert had a random-like episode tonight I and I couldn't help mentioning it either. BTW, does Robot Chicken have another season or did I miss it already?

I think there are new episodes on Sundays iirc. Samurai Champloo was good, but it was rather short watching the reruns is fun though. The anime that I miss is Cowboy Bebop haven't seen it on in a while. :bigcry:

Haven't really seen much of Bebop, I didn't really watch adult swim until it was just finishing its run, although I've heard its a very good show. Occasionally I've also tried watching Bleach and Inuyasha, though I haven't really followed either too closely. Ichigo, I'm assuming you're a Bleach fan, right?
Yea it's sad it was short. Bleach is alright, I just can only catch it here and there sadly. BTW, which ones is about those spirit warrior people? The one with the guy and the really big sword? It's kinda along the same lines as Samurai Champloo.

Yeah I am. I prefer the subbed version of the show over the dubbed version on Adult Swim. I used to watch Inuyasha, but it got kinda old I still watch it occasionally though. I usually only watch Adult Swim on Saturday nights late cause I like Bleach, Blood+, Eureka 7, etc. I'm not a big fan of Robot Chicken and the other stuff that comes on Sunday, and throughout the week. I do watch a lot of anime on YouTube too.

I believe that could also be a reference to Inuyasha, he has an even bigger sword than Ichigo. Inuyasha also deals with spirits, though not on the level of Bleach. Plus, aren't the "demons" from the show actually more like spirits of some kind? I heard that demon wasn't a very good translation for the show. Just to be sure, Decker, does the guy you're referring to have spiky blonde hair or long, silver hair? That would be the dead giveaway.

You might be right Inuyasha has a sword about the same size or bigger than Ichigo's. Probably not in the Japanese version of Bleach the Soul Reapers are refered to as Death Gods not Soul Reapers I don't think.

For all Australians: Chaser's War on Everything returns tonight at 9pm on the ABC (At least on the East Coast)
Nothing. All my shows are off the air.
They even took PBS off cable here and I can't watch my cooking shows on Saturday afternoons anymore. No more Julia Child and Jacques Pepin. Total bummer.org.
All I watch now is the news. Lots and lots of it.

No it's Bleach. I used to watch Inuyasha until I got bored of it, about 2 years ago. Now it's all those shows on Saturday, and I used to watch Afro Samurai till it ended, it was pretty cool until about the last episode, that was weird.

I don't watch that much TV, I'll watch decent cartoons or comedy/satire when they're on but not religiously.
The only two shows I've been actively following have already been discussed in this thread, both aired their season finales on Sunday: Rome and Battlestar Galactica.
The second series of Rome was great overall but I found the last episode a little disappointing even though it did some clever things (I was hoping for more action...) I also hoped they'd skip on even a couple of years to show the "official" birth of the Roman Empire (when Octavian becomes Augustus) but anyway. It was a good series even with it's historical liberties, anyone know if there are any more planned? (it would surprise me as in comparison to the period depicted, very little epic drama occurs for the next 30 odd-years)
The Battlestar finale was pretty insane. The first part was strange enough, but the second was really something. I was disappointed initially that they didn't deal with some of the plot threads I thought had been set up, but after watching it again I really liked it. The scenes with the music were actually pretty disturbing, though I did give a momentary :inquisitive: when I realised what song it actually was. Sadly it hasn't been rating so hot so it looks like the next season will be the last, I hope it'll bring the story to a satisfying conclusion.

Yeah, my brain was reeling the better part of the season finale -- I kept saying "Woah!!" and "WTF??!" to myself. :dizzy2: I have to admit, however, I loved how the episode messed with both the minds of both characters and the audience. ~;)
It is a pity that the ratings have dropped so much, though. I'm puzzled by it, as I think the show has only gotten better with time. I'm much more enthralled with the show now than when I first started watching it, when I was watching it only reluctantly (and then only at my then-roommate's behest, as he insisted I would like it).

Interestingly I have heard (can't confirm) that BSG has been consistently among the most popular shows on iTunes and also illegally on other internet sources, raising the question of the unrepresented audiences on the internet. They're almost irrelvant though since it's the ratings, and the potential advertisment viewership they represent, that makes the difference.
I wonder whether Caprica, the intended spin-off "sci-fi drama" set before the first Cylon War in Caprica City, will ever get on the air? It struck me as an interesting idea.

Since there's nothing on I really like anymore, I'm seriously considering buying the entire West Wing series, all six seasons for $300. Loved that show.
Me and Mrs. Beirut always watched it together, sitting together on the couch with our glasses of wine like a couple of old farts. It was the only show we both enjoyed. I'd like to get the series and watch it from the first episode with her, since we only got into it after a few seasons. Maybe two episodes every Sunday night. (And no commercials.)
Actually, there is one show I watch religiously - The Weather Channel. Since I work outside I'm always interested in the weather. I can sit there with a beer and watch the temperature change for an hour. I hum the weather channel tune while I'm puttering around the house. Drives her nuts.
Supernatural - Great Show...I hope it get´s picked up for a 3rd season
Dexter - Amazing...never saw anything like it...can´t wait for the second season
Scrubs - It´s over the hill already...the best season was 4 and the first half of season 5...but it´s still the funniest show on tv
Criminal Minds - move over CSI....this is THE crime show right now
House - great acting....the stories are always the same tough
Dirty Jobs - it´s fun to see how this stuff gets done....in my nice clean room :P
MythBusters - why science is fun.....having the chance to use explosives always helps
Re-Genesis - great show dealing with the latest science breakthroughs
