Hi guys,

I'm doing some research on the origins of democracy in ancient Athens and its main proponents in Athens and in Greece. If possible, could you please direct me to a good source or something I might use for a newspaper article I'm writing in Spain? It's a discussion on democracy and I thought this would be the best place to ask since the EB team is full of historians.

Thank you!

Well, at the bottom of every article of Wikipedia, there is a list of Books, that were used as reference to write the Wikipedia article.

So you can look at that list of books which are more in depth and written by various people of the field.

As I said wikipedia is a start..your research would lead you to your answers :) Unless you want people to give them here.

True, didn't mean it to diminish your post Suraknar, just wanted to see if anyone else had another source I could use before the post got lost in anonimity :) Thanks
