Hello, I'm new to the forum and it's telling me I should introduce myself.

I've been playing M2TW for a couple months now and I'm hooked. I've completed a grand campaign with France, but I was only able to conquer most of western Europe before the Mongols showed up and cleaned my clock. I'm about 150 odd turns into a campaign with England and I'm doing much better this time.

I've been reading threads for a while but never had a reason to post until now. I'm actually having a graphics problem that I need help with. I read a sticky saying to post here and a mod would move it to the correct forum.

Lately I've been getting weird artifacts or smudges coming off things in both map and battle modes.

Here's a few screenshots:

battle 01 (http://www.ele-mental.com/link/battle01.jpg)
battle 02 (http://www.ele-mental.com/link/battle02.jpg)

I'm playing this through Steam, and when I first installed it everything was perfect, no graphics problems through the whole first campaign. Then I took a break and installed and played through Half Life 2 and HL2: Episode 1. When I came back to play M2TW I started noticing the artifacts. I was so annoyed that I reinstalled XP, Steam and M2TW but they're still here.

My system specs:

Mac Pro running XP SP2 via Bootcamp
2 2.66 GHz dual-core Intel Xeons
3 GB RAM
Radeon x1900XT 512 MB

When I started playing I had everything turned on and way up and V-Sync enabled. I've since been tweaking settings on and off trying to get these things to go away but nothing is working. V1 or V2 shader, bloom and reflections on and off, campaign shadows on and off, filters and AA on and off, etc, etc.

Any help would be appreciated so I can't back to fully enjoying this game!

Sorry buddy, but I'm a one game at a time kind of guy. It never works out for me when I venture outside of an established gaming relationship (see first post). My main game always finds out about it and starts acting crazy.

Haha no seriously, I barely have enough time for M2TW as it is.
