where is thebest place to download the 1.5 patch

First off, I am new to modding games so please don't be angry by the stupidity of my question. Where can I download the 1.3 and 1.5 patch. Second, my friend has the RTW gold edition (I have the regular version), so does he need the 1.3 patch, and last, does having Barbarian Invasion installed negate me from having to download the 1.3 patch? Any help would be very appreciated.

RTW Gold edition should be patched fully.

For 1.3 I'de look on the CA website. I don't know about BI it might, but someone else should probably know.

Where can I download the 1.3 and 1.5 patch.You can find the 1.2 patch here (http://games.softpedia.com/get/Patch/Rome-Total-War-Patch.shtml) and the 1.5 patch here (http://games.softpedia.com/get/Patch/Rome-Total-War-15-Patch.shtml). If you have 1.1 or 1.0 then the 1.3 patch is not necessary in the patching process. Simply install 1.2 and then 1.5, and away you play!

and last, does having Barbarian Invasion installed negate me from having to download the 1.3 patch?Yep it does! You simply then need to download the latest 1.6 patch (http://games.softpedia.com/get/Patch/Rome-Total-War-Barbarian-Invasion-16-Patch.shtml) to patch up R:TW to 1.5 and BI to 1.6.
