Hi everyone,
In the interests of community spirit, and utilising my new-found mapping "sk1lz", I've begun work on a map of Japan which I plan to donate to any team willing to work on a Japan based mod for Medieval II.

Hopefully that island is somewhat familiar. Getting that in-game took about an hour and a half, and I'll be adding more provinces soon, seeing as how I've done about as much as I can do for the moment, without the modelling tools, for IW.
If someone has a map of the prefectures at the period which they want the map to be based on could they post it? So far I've put in Tokyo (which is obviously a placeholder name - it should be Edo if we're basing the map in a period any earlier than the Tokugawa Shogunate) and Sado (which is my favourite of all the islands).
Also, I can do a tilted version (as in Shogun) to avoid the inclusion of Korea, and I can rescale it, as at the moment it is substantially bigger than MII's map - a problem if we want to have realistic rates of movement, but a bonus if we want to include very detailed height and region data.
Please get in touch if you're interested,
Yours,
Ilsamir Lord
