It's the same format as AoE II. Just on a wider scale. From primitive ages to futuristic. I used to have a lot of fun playing until my CD messed up. I remember one single battle where I was playing during the WWI era oh that game was great. Never beat it, but still extremely fun.

I would recomend it though alot of americans stopped playing it its more Europe now so that why i stopped the scenarios give it flavor too. Done get EE2 cause it sucks

The original or EE2? If you mean the original Empire Earth, absolutely I recommend it. It's made by the same people who did Age of Empires II: Age of Kings, and looks almost alike, but you now have a whole mess load of options that you didnt have in AoE such as aircraft (scout balloons, fighters, fighter/bombers, bombers, nuclear bombers, spy satellites, etc). If you also grab the expansion, you can fully customize your civilization's bonuses (do you want bonuses to archery weapon range, or do you want the ability to camouflage your units?) rather than taking just the preset bonuses your civ gets. In fact, the only thing I absolutely do not like about EE is that, unlike AoE, only six workers can mine a resource at a time (seven if you buy the mining bonus, or if you are Russia). This makes for some really long games if you start at the stone age with standard resources.

If you mean Empire Earth 2, pass on it.

I remember playing it alot a few years ago. Online community is probably all but gone now since I remember that even a few years ago there was max like 6 or 7 game occuring on at once and SP campaign isn't that fun so it won't be that awesome

I like them both. i bought last crimbo in a sale. I loved them both. CF you should get 1 and its expansions, its mych better than 2
