Here are some toys that make you wonder "what were they thinking?": Toys that should not exist (http://stromdotcom.blogspot.com/2007/03/toys-that-should-not-exist.html)
I just can't pick a favourite. :laugh4:
OH NOES!!!
The plane/twin towers one is probably my favorite by a VERY small margin. :laugh4:

Why is this in the backroom?
He took out Megatron but I vote he be included.
I mean in robot form he has a very suggestive groin area

And his alt is an accurate reproduction of a Walther P-38. It even has P-38 written on the side.

I thought some of the toy designs were a little too racy for the Frontroom. If the moderators think it is appropriate for the Frontroom they have my blessing to move it there as that is where I originally was going to post this.

You were correct. This is Backroom material at its finest. The Kingdom of Peace and Love does not need the excited Hulk doll.

Yet we have a Babe Thread?
Ahhhh Phallic symbolism, where hasn't it got us?

Nope. The Kingdom of Peace and Love has a Babe thread.
Here in the Anarchy of Discord and Futility, we have a Hunk thread and facilities to provide psychological counselling for the traumas induced by weird toys, Sasquatch sightings and assorted genital mutilations.
Oh, and daisies. :flowers:
Here in The Anarchy of Discord and Futility.
That's pretty good. ~
As for the toys, I ordered the Twister bed cover and told Mrs. Beirut to call a few of her friends over to play some games with us. :wink3:

Alright, I admit it, I already own the twister bed cover :hide:
Comes with a pair of joined soft 'dice', one with the colours marked and one with the limbs. But I am sure this is more information than you all wanted . .

Megatron has immunity. In any case, that "toy" has a minimum 500 USD mark on it, and that's if its out of the box!

A guy on SA posted on how they threw a fit because they received a G1 Optimus Prime for his birthday that he did not want. Dude needed to get silly slapped.

That's only for an original from '84. You can get a Takara reissue for about $100 USD form any online toy store. Or you take that same $100 USD and get MP-05 Megatron!

Yeah, but the reissues are not the same quality. No chrome, no steel. Also, they lack that formal luster that made Transformers appealing.
As you can see from your pics, Megatron looks OK, but Prime looks BAD.
Not mine, these are the only good pics of MP Megatron I could find. I don't have the $250 for both, yet. But I've seen MP-01 Convoy/20th anniversary Prime up close, the only bad thing about him is that his chest windows are clear and not translucent. So you can see the matrix compartment in his chest clear as day. Yes he comes with the matrix of leadership, and you can replace his hand with the orange energy axe he had on the old show.
