So I am thinking about getting this tonight. Anyone have any experience? I have several friends here at work who are playing and say its quite fun. Let me know what you guys think.

I have it/like it. It's still pretty new, so the there's still a lot of room for improvement in terms of performance and content, but I like what I've seen thus far. It has significantly more gameplay depth than WoW, and that could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your tastes.

It also looks beautiful, but as a result can be a bit of a system hog. Even my new PC stutters some in crowded towns, but it's tolerable and will likely be improved in future patches. In the wilderness, there are few performance problems- the only gripe would be "seams", when you cross from one chunk of wilderness into another there can be a brief pause while it loads. Again, I'd expect that to be improved later as well....

Good deal. I've been reading about it all day at work... hehe. 20GB install is insane though. The depth of the game looks awesome. I never really got into WOW. I don't know why though. I have lots of caffeine and food piled next to me, so I should be good to go. I'll post what I think of the game sometime tomorrow.

What system have you got that it stuttes on X?

Alright. The game is fantastic. I love it. I played for about 90min last night and made it to level 5. I only have stuttering every once in awhile, but otherwise it runs great. Very good game if you like MMOs. This is my first one and I have to say, I am quite addicted already.

This (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=1437242&postcount=2) is my system. I have most settings cranked up pretty high and generally things run smoothly. As BlackAxe says, the stutter is pretty rare- I find it mostly in crowded towns and cities.

I currently have 4 characters... A lvl 15 half-elf psionicist, a lvl 14 Vulmane DreadKnight, a lvl 11 Wood-elf Ranger, and a lvl 8 Dark elf Monk.

I have a level 8 dark elf necromancer. Currently I am in a group with a level 9 paladin and a level 7 blood mage. Both are my coworkers, so with a little teamspeak action we own everything. Quite fun. Tomorrow we are to hook up with some mid teens level guys and are going to go to some dungeon or something. Should be interesting.

BLoody hell in a hand-basket 20 gigs, that has to be a record somewere for a single game. :inquisitive: That'd take me 10-11 days of constant downloading to get on my net.
