I was just wondering if in the next EB for MTW:2 you will be using the blacked out part of map feature like for when the Americas is found on vanilla.
Because some one like the Casse would have never seen the lands of tha Sauromatae for intstance.:book:

Yes but all they would have to do is send over a diplomat and make contact with the Sarmatians. It's historically logical. i don't think that's such a great idea, in fact it seems uneccesary. If you are going to rewrite you own history, then why not send your Casse diplomat to the Tarim basin and around the Arabian peninsula?, you don't have to, and if you don't, then you wont know any specific details about the landmass anyway. It's like suggesting that all of the civilised factions use Ptolemy's map (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/23/PtolemyWorldMap.jpg), because that's how the world was as they knew it.

And no, of course it wouldn't be a good idea to use that map, I was saying that all factions' maps should be treated equally.

The whole 'new area' thing wouldn't be very useful unless you wanted to have a new place to conquer. For example, if you were doing a Sengoku Jidai period mod, you could make Korea and China invadable at the end of the game. I don't think EB has anywhere to expand or enough provences to do something like that.

All things considering, that map isn't too bad.
