I believe there are glitches within the building models for Egypt.
The city either have huge squares that look like "reflections of the sky" or
open spaces like this:

Diddn't you know that the Aliens built Aiygypt? Of course everything is weird.

so is the building suspended by alien hovercraft or anti grav technology?
The huge squares reflecting the sky are, I believe, swimming pools. Tourism was flourishing in Ptolemaic Egypt.

What city is that? I believe that floating building thing is not really an EB error, but something that occurred in RTW sometimes also. Anyone know for sure?
Happens with some building in RTW. Eastern buildings in particular seem to have been really rushed in their modelling.

the city is actually the main Egyptian city of Alexandria...you'd think major cities would be finished... >_<
This is what happened when I conquered the city. When I pulled out all my troops & was being seiged, the city had giant squares of mirror thingies that reflected the sky...clouds and all.
I have just experienced the same effect in my KH campaign.
The city is Alexandria.
I noticed a rectangular section of ground in front of the walls that was missing - you could see the sky box through it.

The EB team hasn't touched the city models: they lack a 3D modeller and anyway it's a huge load of work for very little gain: you can only create static cities, while the major towns were hardly static between 272 B.C. and 15 A.D.
I seem to recall similar problems with Alexandria in the 0.7 build. I guess it has something to do with the location.
Thought I made myself clear. It's an RTW thing not an EB one.

I believe this is indeed an EB problem.
I think it has to do with sharing a culture with AS but not the buildings.
Look, I use to have this in vanilla, so I assume it's not from vanilla.
