HELP plz

im sure some one has said something about this b4 and if so im sry 4 re asking this... but i tried to mod in the other factions for r:tw and only macedonia and pontus would work... oh and of course the unlockable ones... but ppl on other forums have said its because theres no text on the faction describing it... could some1 plz say how the format should look in the file/where it should go/or if possible have a link to a place where u can download a mod to put the text in.. any help would be much appreciated :yes:

Ummm, did you do this mod yourself? When I try to do simple mods like this I end up reinstalling the game. Sad huh? I find it easier to download a mod to do it for me. Unzip, replace some files and presto! ~:cheers:

May I suggest you download the 1.5 patch (http://games.softpedia.com/get/Patch/Rome-Total-War-15-Patch.shtml) (or, should you own BI, the 1.6 patch (http://games.softpedia.com/get/Patch/Rome-Total-War-Barbarian-Invasion-16-Patch.shtml)). The issue that you are trying to resolve was introduced by the 1.3 patch which requires a description for every faction to work. Macedon and Pontus have descriptions in the database while all the other non-payable factions, sadly, do not. Good luck, cheers!
