i notice that after i've upgraded my cities until i can build Gunsmith (to train bombards) the stables that i have built earlier on have disappeared from the "city window" and i can't recruit any cavalry units from those cities anymore. It is really giving me problem as i can't retrain any cavalry unit (that i've created earlier) or recruit them. Does this happens to everyone? Do i have to upgrade any building (eg. large stone walls) in order to build buildings that will enable me to train cavalry units again?

ps. i have even tried desperately to use cheats to enable all units so i can train cavalry units again but can't open the console using (~) during the campaign game , any idea?

Huge thanks to anyone that helps, peace!!

Never heard of that happening before. Are you sure that you didn't accidentally convert your Castle to a City? That would demolish your stables and stop you from recruiting cavalry (depending on your faction).

Don't know how this could happen...Aside from converting caxtle to city as stated by Goofball...

Maybe you inadvertently destroyed that building...

As for the console, try the second button on the left of the Return key (lower rank)

It sounds like you converted whatever level of castle you had to a city.

This destroys all incompatible buildings, chief among them stables.

Do AI assassins sabotage player buildings? I've never had them do it, but if they did, the building would appear in the "repair" tab, right?

hey thanks to all your comments, the problem was that i converted the settlements to the cities. didn't realised its effect before.

now i'm real happy with the game. 10 more settlements and i'll finished the long campaign. thanks heaps :)
