How do u edit legions

Ok here's what I wanna do, I haven't done any moding on rtw lately, but lately I feel the need to make a new legion or legion type unit based on one of the roman or immitated legion, but I want to get rid of the pillum, how would you go about doing it.

Your help is much appreciated.

Go into the export_descr_units.txt file and replace the primary weapon stats from "pilum" to "sword", and change the secondary weapon stats to 0 and "none" (look at other units to see what to write). It'll still be there, being built into the model, but it won't come up in the game. Just the swords.

Oh, and remove the "prec ap" attribute. Put in "no."

I will try ur suggestion and post shortly , thanks man for your advice. it sounds to easy to be true, i figured i had to change models and what not. thanks
