Even though it's just Good Friday. The mod wants me to use some kind of goo goo talk. I didn't spend 21 years defending free speech so that I could abandon it. It's been very interesting and maybe I'll pop in from time to time, but not to post. Thanks for the lively debates. Peace.:beam:

As I've said, try Usenet, which is generally unmoderated and hence one can be as free as one likes with language. Here's (http://groups.google.co.uk/group/alt.history.british/browse_frm/thread/27d566236c3d2874/3c1cab95fb417707) one example.

That is just too funny , So Miles, during those 21 years defending free speech didn't you find it ironic that you were denied free speech for the duration of your service .
So since during your 21 years you didn't have free speech how can you be abandoning it now ?

For the record, some Mods have done equal military time in defense of freedom - and still prefer civil discourse (sometimes known as "googoo talk") to useless, counter-productive flamewars.
