I tried the fixes, but they didn´t help. I would really like to go on and lead the imperium to great hounor.

Taking a look at it.

Edit: CTD confirmed with the permanent fixes.

Edit2: Thanks for posting this game :2thumbsup:. It crashes reliably even using all the fixes we've found this far. Hunting down the bug may take a while, as we don't know what can cause it (only that it's not script or trait related).

Only you would be happy about the game crashing...:skull:

Anyways, on a more serious note, does this have anything to do with the rebel turn CTD? I can't load the savegame because my install of EB is a bit different, but I checked out the EDB text and it seems the entries are correct...

Oleo has tested your game and found that you must have an old map.rwm, which unfortunately makes it impossible to reliably find the bug as we have different versions. Possibly it even IS the bug. You need to delete RTW\EB\Data\world\maps\base\map.rwm and start a new campaign in order to get the best stability. However you can continue the game using the technique he found out to bypass the problem in your case:

I was trying some stuff out to get past the ctd. I moved a general next to the 4 casse stacks and slaugthered them with some cheats, then I ended the turn and the ctd was gone.

So what you need to do is pick a general and move him out of his settlement unless he's already outdoors. Then get the console by pressing the key below Esc. Teleport your general using "move_character <name> x,y", experiment with different values for x and y (they're map coordinates) to get him where he's needed. Then attack the Casse armies and type "auto_win attacker" before choosing autocalc. Then teleport him back where he belongs.

Big thanks Bovi! I´ll try this tomorrow. I´m not going to leave this campaign, spent too much time on it. :clown:

Btw I´m very happy about your replys despite my bad english.

Hm... ißm not able to move any character anywhere. I always get the message: "err: character not found". Am I stupid?

The correct command for roman generals is:

move_character "Firstnamemiddlename Lastname" x,y

Ah okay I alway made a space between the First- and the secondname.
But now I have antoher problem. I´m only able to move the character from south to north and not from west to east. So I´m missing the x values.

This is exactly what i write and the character only moves from south to north:

move_character Gaivuscecivs Gallicvs 63,5

I´ve tried it wih diffrent values for x and y but the character is not moving to the right.

Possibly you are hitting a space where your general can't stand, such as a mountain or sea tile?

Open the Rome Shell:
then:

toggle_fow
next:
move to the place on the map where you want to have your general teleported to
next:

show_cursorstat
then teleport your general using those x, y values.

See if that works?

And: you're forgetting about the quotation marks. :idea2:

Wow, thats weird.

Try this savegame, this should get you past the ctd. I moved one guy and killed some casse. After playing one turn you might want to move the general in northwest Iberia back in his town.

move_character Gaivuscecivs Gallicvs 63,5

First, quotes around name.
move_character "Gaivuscecivs Gallicvs" 63,5
Second, is Gallicvs his title? In order for the code to work, you have to use his birth name.

Gallicvs is a legal cognomen as well as an epithet.

I have the same problem (ctd in the Sweboz or Casse turn) and fixed it in the same way, via teleporting a general to Britain and killing all of the Casse stacks there or driving them into settlements. The ctd has returned now, going to try and fix it again tomorrow.

The only file I changed was the EB Script file for easier reforms. Can it still be the map.rwm?

Don't know. Could you post your savegame?
