I stumbled across a great image of a Spartan Hoplite on google and followed it to an absolutely incredible site. It contains over 100 images of soldiers from various periods, including Greek and Napoleonic. These would be perfect for concept ideas, skinning and modelling references.

Yeah, its pretty impressive. I shall make full use of it for modding.

BTW thanks for taking notice of this thread. It seemed as though nobody really cared (which is fair enough I suppose).
