The Org's spring writing contest entry deadline has closed. Now it's time to pick a winner. Choose one of the titles above which you think best captures the contest theme - heresy. Thanks to everyone who submitted a story, and good luck to all!

Note: this poll is open to all non-contestants. Contestants should PM me with their vote, which will have added weight in the final outcome.

Voting will end on Tuesday, 17 April at 14.00 GMT

Below are links to each story in the contest:

Thanks to almost all the contestants for getting their vote to me quickly. Beirut and Crazed Rabbit, I still need your votes :whip:

The poll has closed (automatically and on time!)

I'll be putting together the votes and the PMs I received, and will announce a winner in the next couple of hours.

Seven votes! Wow...
Maybe the theme for the next contest should be "Gratuitous sex and violence".

I recall that last year's spring contest got even less votes. Either we need to advertize it more heavily, like at the summer writing competition, or spring just isn't the time for writing contests.

Well, apparently it was advertised enough, since the announcement Tosa put up got 280 views at least. And, on another subject, how do you know there were only seven votes? I can't see it anywhere.

I told everyone, "Sexy and Violent Cows" was the ticket! :book:

Still waiting for a bit of divine intervention on the result. Thanks for your patience all.

I can't see it anywhere.

You can't see the results at the top of this thread? Very odd...

I see: "Thank you for voting, the results will be announced shortly". Results are accessible through the "edit poll" button, but I gues that's not available to normal members.

"Oh... " said the assistant moderator, blushing furiously.

Currently working with Ser Clegane (and it's not him we're waiting for, it's me) to get an award posted to the winner's account. After that's ready to go I'll make the announcement -- mid-afternoon tomorrow GMT hopefully.

Wow. Thanks to all who voted for me. And to whomever wrote "To Be Heard" I actually liked your story more than mine. Sorry you didn't win.

Mitchell was a good one too. A great one.

Again, thank you all.

Peace, One Love,

Really? I'm honored! I wrote it.

According to your other post, we voted for each other.

I am amused.

But yes, great work. Masterful use of dialouge in such an abstract piece.
