Ok I doubt the name sticks out, and i hope i put this in the right spot. I just wanted to ask if it is possible to change the Royal bodyguard unit for any faction? If it is then could someone point me towards where i can find out or tell me. I still only play MTW with the medmod for it.
I will probably have more modding q's later, I'm really starting to like tweaking somethings.
Thanks to any responses.

Hi, if you mean that you want to give a faction a different unit for its bodyguard, it's quite easy to do if you have Gnome Editor (see downloads area for a copy). Use this to open up the crusader_unit_prod file (I don't know MedMod, so it's possible it has a different name, but it will still be unit_prod something or other....)
There is a column in this file labelled for bodyguard units (maybe the easiest way to find it is look for the "Royal knights" entry and scroll across until you see the correct heading).
For an example, say you wanted to give the English faction Billmen for their bodyguards. What you will need to do is remove "FN_English" from the bodyguard column for Royal Knights (you may need to do it for early, high and late RKs) and then find the Billmen entry and ADD "FN_English" into that column. Save, and start a new English campaign (it will mess up a saved game, so you will need to start from scratch). Your king should now appear as a unit of Bilmmen, as will any princes. Of course, you have remembered to make a back-up copy of the unit_prod file, haven't you ~D
Good luck!

Thank you Macsen, that was what i was asking for, I've been a player of MTW for a few years now, and thought that almost every faction having the same unit for Kings and princes was a litte boring, so I wanted to mix it up, and try other things.
