What is the best combination of mods right now for a campaign

After trying the 1.2 patch and having it CTD EVERY SINGLE BATTLE, I figure its about time I try out some of the better mods after a fresh install. Please don't promote a mod you made just for coverage unless its truly a better mod. Also, the second question is is can I combine mods to fix more than a few problems. Any list of good combos would be nice. Thanks

The best one, is to make the patch work.

Simply make a clean install, delete the sega folder, reinstall and play :yes:

Lands to Conquor is a great mod. It has alot of the little individual fixes in it that make the game more playable and enjoyable. IMO its the first mod I would reccomend to a player just getting done with the vanilla game. It does, from what I have heard, also combine well with some of the other mods. I havent tried that yet though so I cant reccomend what to combine it with. I'm sure others can elaborate on what LtC will work well with.

I use Lands to Conquer. Its a nice mod.:yes:
