'lo people. Hope this is the right place to post a little mod for CoH since there's no other forum here looking it fits there :)

This is a little mod I've been working on to get used to modding CoH and modding in general kind of. I'm almost sure that if I had continued my modding efforts from the past longer... well, who knows... I could've been a great modder today! :P

It's a personal mod and since it's still in the works (and as I'm still learning) I post it here for anybody who likes CoH. I hope you'll check it out and criticize it, even if the included readme is a bit cold at the end, lol :laugh4:

Looks interesting, faster paced...

Do you know if you could script the infantry to use the sticky bombs automatically? I never liked that aspect of micromanagement and I'm curious.

I suppose the sticky bomb uses munitions to throw so if it was scripted it could be annoying unless it was free.

The sticky bomb costs only 5 munitions so that's really nothing. Still, even if it was scripted it would do no (or very little) HP damage, but engine damage once: it would be useless to script it and your squad would be shot to pieces if you just left them.

But please, if you have any ideas, throw 'em in. Maybe I'll implement some :2thumbsup:

Could you make it easier to hit and kill people? That aspect always seemed kinda funny - my dudes would waste clip after clip at a few guys in an open field and it would still take a while to hit anything...

That could be balanced by increasing the unit pop limit and or cost/build speed of squads, too...

Hmmm. It is possible, but I don't think a good idea. CoH clearly isn't made for instakilling. The game would become VERY fast and a person would have little time to respond with even more multiple things going on in-game and in-mind, lol :laugh4:

If I would increase pop sizes and such it would start to look awfully like existing mods. I intended it to be a bit more subtle :)
